Holidays

We had a very nice, laid-back Christmas, and a fun New Years Eve and New Years Day. Darrin went into "labor" with his kidney stones and gave us a little scare that we would be in the hospital again for Christmas. But, it was just a couple of days of pain and that is it. We still aren't sure if he ever got rid of them or if they are still waiting for another in-convenient time to appear. I guess we will see....

Anyway, we started out our Christmas with a special present for my mutter-in-law. I made Spinach Dip with crusty french bread, topped with garlic infused browned butter. (That's a really fancy way of saying..garlic toast)

I think she really liked it.

Then we had Christmas Eve dinner with My mom, Parents Bradshaw, Becky, Jeff, Cody and Tanner and our family. We had lasagna, garlic bread, and salad. Yum!

All too soon, Christmas Morning was here and the boys were chomping at the bit to get downstairs to see what Santa left them.

All Remy and Tate wanted in their stockings was "deodorant, like dad's".

Santa came through. He also got Remy an ipod (not really, he just thinks it is...it is a fm radio, and he loves it!) and a razor scooter. Tate got a pretend black and decker welder with glasses and gloves and a chainsaw. They had a really great Christmas. We were all very blessed.
