This past week was Darrin's vacation week, we did a lot of fun things from camping to a trip to Snowbird to a funeral. Darrin and I had an overnight date together thanks to his mom and dad. We went to the Melting Pot in Salt Lake and totally indulged in Fondue. It was the first time I had ever had it and it was all really yummy!!

I love the Melting Pot...what a treat!! So in your post you mentioned you did fun things and a funeral was included?? Hmm!?

Well, OK, I guess a funeral is not considered "fun", that really didn't belong in that sentence. :)
The funeral was not really fun, Darrin's Uncle Arlo passed away. Darrin and his bro's and sis's used to spend some time during the summers with them so he was very dear to Darrin. It was the best funeral I have ever been to though. The spirit was so strong and it was a spirit of reverence and and humor and love.

It's always nice to have some alone time! Glad you guys had fun! Vacations are always nice.
The only "fun" thing about the funeral was to see cousins we probably haven't seen in 10 years or so. Jeff and I might have to do what you suggested sometime for the Melting Pot.
