I'm Sorry...

We were driving home from school today and Tate was yelling really loudly. I had asked him to talk quietly a number of times to no avail. Finally, I clapped my hands loudly thinking it would get his attention, instead Remy says, "you scared me mom" and Tate put his hand to his chest (his sign for scared) and said "sca".
I said, "well, I was just trying to get Tate's attention." To this Remy replies, "well, you scared Tates feelings mom!"

Holy Schnikies!

Wow, we got whalloped with the snow yesterday! There were so many accidents on the road from Eagle Mountain to Lehi yesterday, it was closed until this morning. It took Darrin 3 hours to get home because of the bad roads/traffic. I didn't go into work this morning, but Darrin had to. We will see how it all goes today!!! Wish us luck....

What's Going On?!?

Just thought we'd let you know what has been going on with us. I seriously have not had any time to even download any pictures!

Remy is in his second week of swimming lessons at the local pool. He is having a blast too! He loves to play in the water and is doing well letting the teacher show him new things. He finally, after 5 whole swimming lessons went all the way under without plugging his nose. I was so surprised! Then that was all he did for the rest of the time. If he learns nothing else, the money was well spent for learning how to bob!

Tate is totally into peeing in the potty right now. He loves to watch Remy go and to flush the toilet for everybody. He wanted to get on the other day and he actually went. So everytime Remy goes Tate has to go, which is a little annoying, but I have to remind myself what the bigger goal is! Yesterday he actually asked to go potty. I took him in and thought that he had just went in his diaper and told me after, but to my surprise he actually went. I will ride this wave as long as it lasts (and I won't be surprised if he is still not potty trained when he is 5 hee-hee!).

I was put in as Cubmaster in Cub Scouts last week. We still haven't chartered (because we are a new ward and thus a new Pack), and we don't have all our Den leaders yet, but we have one really ambitious Den leader who is frantic because February is the Blue and Gold Banquet and we only have two weeks left!!!!
So, any ideas for a Blue and Gold Banquet??
We have been enjoying all of your blogs, keep up the good work!

My Peeping Tom

We went to Old Navy today to get Darrin some new clothes. He found some things to try on and went to the fitting rooms. Remy, Tate and I were done looking at kids clothes so we went and were sitting on a bench at the fitting rooms. For some reason Remy really wanted to find Darrin and go in the room with him. He kept asking where daddy was and I kept telling him I didn't know.
So, while I had my attention on Tate he ran over to the first door and peeked under it just enough to see the persons feet. He came back and said, "I found Dad! Can I go in?" I said, "Well, no because wouldn't that be embarrassing if you went in and it wasn't really daddy?" He just said "Oh, OK."
About 10 seconds later he comes over to me and whispers in my ear, "Is there someone else in the clothes room with UPS socks on?"
I just cracked up laughing! I told him that he could go under the door, that it was definitely daddy!

Yucky, Icky, Sickies!

Hey, we have all been taking part in some crazy pass the flu bug game at our house. I think we are finally rid of it!! I hate the stomache flu!!

On the brighter side, Tate's ear tubes are working! He has had a cold lately and he woke up the other day and his ear had drained during the night. It was so gross!! I have seen lots of ears with crusties, but this one takes the cake!! It was so crazy that I just had to include a picture of it on the blog :)

Well, that's our pristine, high class and cultured news for the day!
